The school is required to make certain items of information available at the school to parents and the public. The school holds information on the following:
Any published OFSTED Reports, which refer explicitly to the school.
Any schemes of work currently used by teachers in the school.
Any syllabuses followed, including those for public examinations.
Information regarding annual school achievements and attainment tables.
Comments and Concerns
We hope that the school can resolve any concerns that a parent may have. The class teachers will always endeavour to solve the matter and should be your first point of contact. If you do not feel that the matter has been resolved then you are asked to make an appointment to talk to the Head Teacher. If the matter is still not resolved then School Complaints Procedure should be followed.
Effective communication between teachers and parents will ensure that all matters are dealt with as soon as possible.
This consent form needs to be completed if you do not use ParentPay to pay for a school visit your child is going on.
If you feel you need parent and family support please talk confidentially to the Headteacher who can put you in touch with the local Parent Family Support Worker (PFSA).
You will want to know how your child is progressing at school. We intend to keep you fully informed as we view education as a partnership between home and school. You may view your child’s work when mutually convenient. (The end of the school day is the most convenient time but other times can be arranged.)
We hold Consultation Evenings twice a year to discuss the progress of your son/daughter. These operate on an appointment system and allow time for discussion and a review of your child’s work. We also hold an Open Afternoon, usually in the summer term when your child will be able to share their work with you.
We will send home a detailed report at the end of each academic year.
